Creamy Hot Chocolate
Yields
4 to 5 servings
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of whole milk
2 cups of half and half
4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, chopped
4 ounces of milk chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon of sugar
a pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of instant espresso or coffee powder
marshmellows or cinnamon sticks to garnish
Instructions
1. In a saucepan add milk and half and half
2. Turn your portable induction cooktop to 430F and boil for 8 to 10 minutes or right below simmering point
3. Add both chocolates and mix until melted
4. Add sugar , salt and vanilla extract and espresso and whisk
5. Turn off the heat and serve immediately
6. Garmish with marshmellows or cinnamon sticks with each serving
